You can help my charity

First, you can donate to my fundraiser for Médecins Sans Frontières, this adventure’s chosen charity. For most of us, it’s hard to imagine the horrors of life in an area affected by war, natural disaster or disease. Well, OK, maybe we can now imagine the disease part, and even here in the affluent West it wasn’t pleasant. But it could have been a lot worse. The charity’s incredibly brave medical staff are there to help the most desperate in their time of greatest need.

However, if you want to help me personally, you could buy me a coffee and help to stretch my tiny daily budget. You’d bring a smile to tired man’s face.

Alternatively, you can join me on Patreon and subscribe monthly to access all sorts of goodies. These include my weekly blog, my route map and access to this site’s discussion forum to influence elements of my trip. For those who want to dive more deeply, there’s my private daily diary as well as access to all the photos that won’t appear anywhere else. And for anyone who wants a two-way relationship, there are signed photos, regular personalised photo just for you, access to a special WhatsApp group so that we can keep in touch and even the possibility of a Zoom meeting.
