Day 43: Fri 13th May 2022

Woke up late in my lovely field fully rested after a full night of sleep, one in which russell howard told me im not talented, but i knew that already.

Carries on the excellent pilgrims way, ducking into Charing for a cup of tea and a scone, another transaction that turned out ro be declined i later found out. Is there a book in that? Around the world financed only by declined but unnoticed transactions?

The path continued through some lovely fields and scenery. Everything in kent looks so well presented. There’s no shittiness. Except for the house-size pile of manure i saw in a field.

Stopped for a drink and recharge phone in broughton lees, a village with a cricket pitch on the green.

Stopped again a little later and when i told a bloke what i was doing he held out a hand to shake.

Near waltham it was past 6 and i wanted to stop. Like yesterday, i found an obscure track into a field and then found a corner of it hidden by bushes, not visible to houses or roads. Think itll be ok.

Distance today (km) 25, total 771
